Welcome to the Côr Meibion Maelgwn Male Voice Choir...
Our concert in St. Martin’s Church, Eglwysbach was a huge success! As well as singing our selection of Welsh and English items (and even one in Italian!) we were joined by the children of Eglwysbach School who sang their own items and also joined in with the Choir.
Refreshments (including wine!) were served during the interval, and, following the concert, the Choir enjoyed an ‘afterglow’ in the Bee Inn, when there was even more singing!
Tickets purchased at the door, and (a new innovation for us!) online at ticketsource.co.uk raised over £900, and, including generous contributions from the audience for wine and snacks during the interval, a total of over £1,000 was raised, from which the church will be making a contribution to Eglwysbach School.
We had a great evening!
